During lockdown, I filled sketchbooks with spontaneous drawings, doodles, illustrations and character ideas as a way to stay creative. It became a space to experiment freely with illustration and different styles. I’ve since revisited and digitised a selection of these, especially the character work, which now feels like a visual diary. I’m now starting to develop them further through animation.
